Matagorda Harbor is located on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway at Mile Marker 440 WHL in the historic village of Matagorda.
By land, the harbor is located at the end of State Highway 60, about twenty-five miles south of Bay City. Although the harbor is behind the storm levee, you cannot miss the tall blue and white sign with the LED message board.
